Frequently Asked Questions...
Below are some of the questions we get asked most often, and our latest and most up-to-date responses appear below each question.
Is this legal? Yes, casino themed parties are perfectly legal as long as none of the patrons is playing for anything of value, and as long as there is no "rake" involved. A rake is where an organization or an individual is "Banking" the action, and keeping a percentage of the action or consistently backing the action on the opposite side of the bettors wager. We never do that.
How much advance notice do you require? We require at least 30 days advance notice of your event for us to properly plan and staff it. We often receive requests for events on the same night, and we book our events on a first come, first served basis. We can accept a request for an event within the standard 30 day notice period, but we may add an additional "late notice" fee to the event total if it is necessary. We only add the additional charge if we have trouble staffing the event that requires our dealers to change their schedules.
What is your policy for booking an event? We generally require the greater of: 50% of the event total or $500 deposit at the time of signing the contract. Once you have signed the contract and paid your agreed upon deposit, your event is considered booked and in our schedule.
Can I cancel my event? Why would you want to? Seriously, if the need should arise, you may cancel your event with a 15% cancellation fee.
Do I tip the dealers? The dealers are service people just like servers and wait staff. They provide a service to you just as they would in any other type service-based industry, and tipping is acceptable and based on the level of that service. Our chips have no cash value and cannot be used to tip dealers. If you feel that the dealers at your event have provided an above average service, the event host is the one to tip the dealers. Event organizers usually tip in the amount of $25-$50 per dealer. We don’t impose a tip on our clients, and we will never add one to the invoice as some of our competitors do. If you are wanting to tip after the event, you may tip our dealers yourself.
Do you have other games available? Our current list of other games available: Three Card Poker Caribbean Stud Poker Casino War Let It Ride Money Wheel We're always looking at new games to add, so if you have a game in mind just ask one of our event coordinators and we'll do everything we can to make it happen.
Can you help me hold a fundraiser? Yes, one of the services we provide is running the most profitable, fun fundraiser possible. There are special rules that apply, so be sure to ask one of our event coordinators what all is involved.
Does everyone attending one of your events need to be 21? No. Because we are not gambling for anything of value, this is considered entertainment and therefore open to anyone of any age. Our company policy is to make every effort to make sure everyone attending one of our events is at least 18. We have, and we will again, turn down offers to do high school and graduation parties.
What if I want a longer event? On our packages page we have listed the costs involved for each additional hour for each game or package.
